Pozice Ukrajiny v Euroasijském transportu ropy a zemního plynu

Monografie se soustředí na teoretické a empirické analýzy toků ropy a zemního plynu v Euroasii a mapuje tranzitní pozici Ukrajiny v regionálním řetězci dodávek ropy a plynu. Cílem publikace je pokusit se objektivně zhodnotit možnosti euroasijské energetické integrace v rámci rozšíření evropského energetického trhu na východ a předpovědět úlohu Ukrajiny v geopolitické energetické alianci vedené EU. Pozornost je věnována ekonomickým, geografickým, historickým a politickým faktorům integrace trhů stejně jako systémovému přístupu vývoje energetických aliancí. Autor analyzuje euroasijský prostor, který je místem těžby, dopravy a spotřeby ropy a plynu a zkoumá geoekonomické zájmy a tranzitní potenciál Ukrajiny z hlediska nárůstu spotřeby energetických surovin v EU. Čtenáři se zde seznámí, že (i) energetická integrace na rozdíl od tradičního ekonomického směru může být vysvětlena systémovým přístupem a geopolitickým směrem energetického expanzionismu; že (ii) infrastrukturní ropné a plynové projekty EU znamenají hlubší integraci členských zemí EU se zainteresovanými nečlenskými zeměmi; a, že (iii) status Ukrajiny jakožto tranzitora ropy a plynu v euroasijském regionu znamená rostoucí angažovanost v energetických iniciativách EU dle evropských pravidel. Ukraine's position in Eurasian transport of oil and natural gas This book focuses on theoretical and empirical analysis of oil and natural gas flows in Eurasia and maps Ukraine’s transit position in the regional oil and gas supply chain. The aim of the publication is to objectively evaluate possibilities of Eurasian energy integration by enlargement of the European energy market further to the East and to prospect Ukraine’s involvement into a geo-political energy alliance, driven by EU. Attention is paid to economic, geographic, historic and political premises of markets integration as well as system approach of energy alliances development. Author analyses Eurasia being the place of oil and gas production, transportation and consumption. Geo-economic interests and transit potential of Ukraine are inquired from the prospective of European energy consumption growth. Readers find out that (i) energy integration on contrary to traditional economic stream can be explained by system approach and geo-political stream of energy expansionism; that (ii) EU infrastructural oil and gas projects imply deeper integration of EU member-states with involved non-members, and that (iii) Ukraine’s oil and gas transit status within Eurasian region facilitates its growing involvement into EU energy initiatives guided by the European rules.
